It also has the archaeological site of Quiriguá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There you will find the famous 10.5 meters high E stele, the highest of the Mayan World. In addition, visitors can discover the history of San Felipe Castle, which was built to prevent English pirates from reaching Guatemalan territory.
